The Secret of Beauty

On December 8, Places & Traces visited the Moudros Junior High School for an occasion that was anything but ordinary.

Under the guidance of painter Katerina Veroutsos, we unlocked timeless secrets of beauty, discussing art history and the art of living.

We breathed new life into nature with our pencils and savored the real juices of a healthy diet.

Beauty is fleeting, and its standards are constantly changing. But caring for ourselves and those around us endures and enriches our entire lives!

We would like to thank the “Argyrios Moschidis” Junior High School in Moudros and its principal, Ms. Theodora Lyberi, as well as the Department of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of the Aegean (UoA) for their collaboration!

The “Secret of Beauty” initiative is part of the National Action against Childhood Obesity in Greece, implemented in collaboration with UNICEF Greece and the Institute of Social and Preventive Medicine (IKPI).

Το Μυστικό της Ομορφιάς

Στις 8 Δεκεμβρίου η Places & Traces βρέθηκε στο Γυμνάσιο του Μούδρου με μια αφορμή πέρα από τα συνηθισμένα.

Με την καθοδήγηση της εικαστικού Κατερίνας Βερούτσου ξεκλειδώσαμε διαχρονικά μυστικά Ομορφιάς, μιλώντας για Ιστορία της Τέχνης και για την τέχνη της Ζωής.

Δώσαμε νέα πνοή στη φύση με τα μολύβια μας και γευτήκαμε τους πραγματικούς χυμούς μιας υγιεινής διατροφής.

Η ομορφιά είναι εφήμερη και τα πρότυπά της αλλάζουν διαρκώς. Αλλά η φροντίδα για τον εαυτό μας, τους γύρω μας, διαρκεί και ομορφαίνει όλη μας τη ζωή!

Ευχαριστούμε το Γυμνάσιο Μούδρου “Αργύριος Μοσχίδης” και τη διευθύντριά του κ. Θεοδώρα Λυμπέρη, καθώς και το Τμήμα Επιστήμης Τροφίμων και Διατροφής (ΤΕΤΔ) του Πανεπιστημίου Αιγαίου- UoA για τη συνεργασία!

Η δράση Το μυστικό της ομορφιάς εντάσσεται στο πλαίσιο της Εθνικής Δράσης κατά της Παιδικής Παχυσαρκίας που υλοποιείται σε συνεργασία με τη UNICEF στην Ελλάδα και το Ινστιτούτο Κοινωνικής και Προληπτικής Ιατρικής (ΙΚΠΙ).
