Angeliki Tseliou

Co-founder & Coordinator

Angeliki is a cultural manager and content editor specialising in education, culture, and social innovation. She studied Linguistics, and Literary Translation in Athens, and obtained a D.E.A. (MA) in Modern Greek Studies from the Institut Néohellénique of the University of Paris IV - Paris Sorbonne. She is a scholar of the "Alexandros S. Onassis" Foundation and the Centre de la Traduction Littéraire, Institut Français d'Athènes. Her collaborations include working with the National Book Centre of Greece as a programme and content manager, the youth supplement of the newspaper KATHIMERINI, as editor-in-chief, ATHOC 2004 as a project manager, PostScriptum, as a content manager, and various publishers, such as Patakis, Polis, Metaihmio, Kritiki, Erevnites, and Explorer as a project manager, content and communication consultant, editor, and book translator. Since 2016, she has focused on cultural education programs with a strong social impact through initiatives like #kids4thecity and Next Station Victoria | Nächste Station: Victoriaplatz. Envisioning bringing projects to life that highlight place identity through interdisciplinary activities in urban and rural settings, she co-founded Places & Traces and continues to coordinate it to date (2021- ).

Efi Proikou

Project Management Expert

With a degree in Literature and Business Administration, and a master's degree in Cultural Management, Efi works as a freelancer in the cultural sector. She has received specialised training in project management for local authorities and organisations, and has collaborated with various municipalities and civil society organisations on programme coordination and event planning.

Maria Papapanagiotou

Educational innovation expert

Philologist and Political Scientist, currently serving as the Director of Moudros High School. She holds a postgraduate degree in Education from the Open University and is pursuing a PhD in Latin Philology at Democritus University of Thrace. Maria has a wealth of experience in educational innovation, with a specific focus on digitizing Lemnos history and producing documentaries on related subjects. She has also conducted research and contributed to the development of the digital platform "MYTHOTOPIA" as part of a project with Democritus University of Thrace/TEF and ATHENA R&I Centre of Xanthi.

Alexandros Lamprovasilis

Creative Activities Expert

Winner of international competitions (CENTER Awards, Critical Mass, International Photography Awards), Limnos photographer Alexandros Lambrovassilis is a Smithsonian Associate, and his work is on permanent display at the National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. From 2006 to 2020, he lived and worked in the US, where he was a guest lecturer at NYU/School of Professional Studies, Michigan State University, and the New England School of Photography. Since 2021, Lambrovassilis has been living between Athens and Lemnos, participating as artistic director and educator in programmes and activities related to Lemnos' history and heritage.

Maria Koumianou

Digital Communication Specialist

Maria specialises in strategic communication, branding, social media management, and digital content creation. She studied Art Conservation in Athens and completed postgraduate studies in Contemporary Art Theory and Exhibition Curation in Edinburgh. Through her studies in Digital Marketing at Knowcrunch, she further acquired up-to-date knowledge in the field of digital strategy and online advertising. She has worked as a communications manager in cultural and commercial enterprises, developing branding and promotion strategies. Combining her experience in art, communications, and digital marketing, she seeks to develop dynamic and original strategies that highlight the identity of businesses and cultural organisations, strengthening their presence in the digital and physical space. Maria is the founder and owner of Digilust, a Limnos-based creative agency.

Maria Leonida

Digital Media Education Expert

Film director and Media Educator. Her documentaries have been screened in Film Festivals and TV channels around Europe. Since 2002 she also works as a Media Educator starting with the nationwide Melina Project-Arts in Education and the Chicam project at the Institute of Education, London. Currently she designs media workshops for various programs in and outside schools both for children and adult educators. European projects include: The Videomuseums, CH.I.C.A.M, Stranger Festival, ECOWOMEN, North Aegean Narratives, University of Frankfurt, the JOBAct project in Germany. In Greece she is responsible for media projects at the University of Athens (Roma children), British Council, World Wide Fund and several Educational Authorities. Maria trained in filmmaking in London and Denmark. She holds a BA in History and an MA in Art History and is currently a PHD candidate at the University of Athens, researching early childhood media issues. Maria is the artistic director of the Karpos Centre for Media Education.

Chara Monachou

Special education & Social Inclusion expert

Chara is a dedicated educator working in public special education schools. She holds a degree in Preschool Education from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, specializing in psychology and special education, a second degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Kavala Institute of Technology, and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Macedonia.

With great love and respect for her students, she believes that every child has the ability to learn — each in their own way and at their own pace. Her goal is to support every learner in developing their potential and becoming an active, valued member of our society. Passionate about lifelong learning, she continues to expand her knowledge through ongoing studies and training in the education of children with special educational needs.
